Regaining Discipline

Yep, that’s what I’m doing here.  Starting, or really re-starting, the process of doing what I love – sharing what I know.  :]  Eventually, I know I will get to the point again in my relationship with God where I have enough input to output.

Today, this is what I know, and what’s on my mind:

1- I love these lyrics:
I’ve been the one to shake with fear
And wonder if You’re even here
I’ve been the one to doubt Your love
I’ve told myself You’re not enough

I’ve been the one to try and say
I’ll overcome by my own strength
I’ve been the one to fall apart
And to start to question who You are

You’re the one who conquers giants
You’re the one who calls out kings
You shut the mouths of lions
You tell the dead to breathe
You’re the one who walks through fire
You take the orphan’s hand
You are the one Messiah
You are I am
You are I am

I’ve been the one held down in chains
Beneath the weight of all my shame
I’ve been the one to believe
That where I am You cannot reach

You’re the one who conquers giants
You’re the one who calls out kings
You shut the mouths of lions
You tell the dead to breathe
You’re the one who walks through fire
You take the orphan’s hand
You are the one Messiah
You are I am
You are I am

The veil is torn
And now I live with the Spirit inside
The same one, the very same one
who brought the Son back to life

Hallelujah, He lives in me
Hallelujah, He lives in me
Hallelujah, He lives in me
Hallelujah, He lives in me

You’re the one who conquers giants
You’re the one who calls out kings
You shut the mouths of lions
You tell the dead to breathe
You’re the one who walks through fire
You take the orphan’s hand
You are the one Messiah
You are I am
You are I am

It’s better if you sing along though:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JI4CPfuLW0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

2- Today I met up with a friend, and we had a very nice chat.  While we were there I also ate a bowl of chili and had a medium cup of ginger peach tea with honey.

3- I am currently waiting for Justin to get out of work.  Right now I am feeding Malachi and I think he’s very cute.

4- My tummy rumbleth.

5- That is awesome that Hostess is closing, because they’re soooo horrible for you.  My slight condolences to those who enjoyed them.  My actual condolences to those who will be out of a job because of this.

6- I went grocery shopping this morning and spent $120.  That is more than I wanted to spend.

7- It’s always fun, the compliments we get on Mr. Mal when out and about.

8- I need to drink a lot more water than I have been.

9- I wish that all women would choose to breastfeed, and that they had good support.

10- I wish that all people would do thorough research before vaccinating their children.

11- If we were to get pregnant again soon, that’d be fine and dandy with us.

12- I miss Unger!  He is at home in the garage right now.

13- I am looking forward to an upcoming date night soon with Justin and Mal, where we’ll eat at Spaghetti Jim’s then walk around downtown and buy a local, eco-friendly, high quality toy for Malachi for Christmas.

14- Making the homemade Christmas gifts this year will be fun.

15- I’m also looking forward to the family Christmas with Justin’s mom’s side of the family up at our house on December 8th.

16- Kristian Stanfill sings good songs.  Currently listening to One Thing Remains by that guy.

17- My ribs actually feel kind of sore on the inside from being hungry.  Or am I actually thirsty?  lol?

18- Money sucks.  But I speak prosperity over our finances, so that we can eat well and give to others.

19- Justin and I have a dream of living on Lake Michigan someday.  Recently though, I kind of have a dream of living on a farm and raising for ourselves everything we need to live sustainably, and give to others out of our abundance.  Is it possible to have a farm on Lake Michigan?

20- My favorite snack mix is raw cashews, roasted pistachios, and dried cranberries, all organic from Oryana.

21- Shetler milk is our favorite milk.  Still wanna try Moomer’s though.

22- Someday, I’m gonna try raw milk.

23- I think my rib pain is from being so thirsty.  I need better water intake.

24- I love Justin, and I want to put even more effort into our marriage.  But phew, after I get something to drink.

25- My mind “talks back” a lot to my thoughts and spirit, usually in the negative.  Stupid flesh.

26- It’s a very nice day out.  That’s not good news for the groceries in the trunk.

27- I gotta go find me a million pounds of water and drink it all.

28- Israel will stand.  And I’ll stand with her.  Even though it’s so crazy over there, I’d move there in a heartbeat.

29- I need to go change Malachi’s diaper.  And drink some water, seriously.

Courtney – Was happy to see “BOTTOM LINE” and read all your comments, although I was puzzled by some. Anyway, take care and drink more water. Love you! Grandma Futon
